Review: This is my first Mandy Baggot book. *Waits for gasps* I certainly don't know what I had been waiting for, I had heard so many great things about her books and how she creates these crazy romantic stories. Anyway, when I was offered the opportunity to review this book for the tour, I jumped at the opportunity and I am happy that I did because I really enjoyed it. There is so much drama, unexpected twists, romance and passion!
George, short for Georgina, is an ambitious caterer focused on her small company, Finger Food, with no time for relationships... until she meets Quinn Blake, the famous rock star. Their connexion is instantaneous and they start this kind of passionate secret relationship risking everything because not only is Quinn on every magazine but he is engaged too, with the daughter of his boss. At first, I didn't really understand why George and Quinn had this incontrolable need to be with each other without knowing anything about their lifes and having exchanged only a few words. But their love was so intense that I just thought, go for it guys, I am sure something big is awaiting for you. And it was! Like huge! I think Mandy likes her stories to go big, but that's good because it makes them so unexpected.
I really liked the characters surrounding our main couple, the Finger Food staff was lovely: a sensible mother with a crazy daughter, I loved them and they had an amazing relationship. And then Adam, George's brother was really cute. But don't forget, Quinn's fiancée and her father, I loved hating them. She was so bitchy about everything. So all in all, Mandy creates a unique love story with so much drama that will have you glued to the pages of this book until you finish it. I am for sure checking Mandy's other books.
