Blog Tour: A Home in Sunset Bay by Rebecca Pugh - Guestpost

Today I'm delighted to take part in the Blog Tour for A Home in Sunset Bay, the second book of Rebecca Pugh. I adored her debut last year and I have been patiently awaiting her second book and here it is! A Home in Sunset Bar is a lovely and cute story about family, love and friendship that I highly recommend.

To celebrate its publication next Tuesday, today I welcome Rebecca Pugh to my blog. She is sharing with us the playlist for A Home in Sunset Bay. Rebecca, all yours:

Playlist for A Home in Sunset Bay

1. Let’s Twist Again – Chubby Checker

I had this song in my head when I was creating Dolly’s Diner. I could imagine so perfectly the food being served, the chatter, and the jukebox playing this song. It depicts everything that the diner’s about and is capable of putting anyone and everyone in a fantastic mood. Have a listen and tell me, honestly, that it doesn’t make you want to dance?

2. I Got You – Leona Lewis

I adore this song, and I think it’s perfect for Mia and Laurie Chapman. It’s about always being there for someone, letting them know they’ve got a place they can go to if ever they need it. It’s a gorgeous song.

3. Love Me Like You Do – Ellie Goulding

I won’t lie, I love this song and it fits pretty well with Mia and Cal. You’ll learn more about these two within A Home in Sunset Bay, but the emotions are spot-on and it definitely gives me all of the fluttery feels whenever I hear it.

4. Landslide – Stevie Nicks

*sniff* Possibly one of the most beautiful songs ever? I honestly can’t listen to this song without a tear or two escaping, and while writing Laurie’s story, I felt that this explained her journey in a strange sort of way. She’s let down, shaken up, and has to find herself again. Have a listen and see what you think.

5. One Republic – Good Life

This song is perfect for when A Home in Sunset Bay comes to an end. Life is full of ups and downs, twists and turns and surprises. But despite that, it’s an upbeat, positive song that never fails to put a smile on my face. It’s about loving life despite the hard parts and enjoying it for the moment.

What a bunch of fantastic songs! Thank you Becca for sharing them with us. I can totally picture Let's Twist Again playing in Dolly's Dinner!

Blurb: There’s no place like home…

Enough is enough! The always perfect Laurie Chapman had jumped in her car and raced as fast as she could from London heading to Sunset Bay and (she hopes!) the open arms of her estranged sister…

Mia Chapman loves running Dolly’s Diner in the picture-perfect coastal Cornish town of Sunset Bay. Now that her and Grandma Dolly’s dream is finally a reality Mia has never been prouder! Until Laurie suddenly turns up on her doorstep… How can she forgive the sister who walked away?

Once upon a time Mia and Laurie were best friends. Back together after so long, the time has come for the sisters to figure out what went so wrong all those years ago – and whether they can ever put it right!
