Blogiversary Guest Post and Giveaway: Suze in Bookland!

My little book blog is one! I still can't believe how amazing this year has been. To celebrate it, I have asked some of my lovely bookish friends to talk about their own booklands, the place where they get lost in their books and travel far far away!

My guest today is the lovely Suzanne, from Lavender Likes, Loves, Finds and Dreams, a fantastic blog with book reviews, Etsy finds, short stories and amazing giveaways. Go have a look! And Suze has kindly offered to send to one lucky winner some Happy Mail. I am sure it will brighten your day! Suze, all yours:

I have an iron bed in my living room, something I've seen in a holiday home in France and had to have straight away. It looked so cozy and was so comfortable with many pretty quilts and pillows. As soon as I found it I knew it was going to be the perfect reading spot. I read there every night and even though we have a perfectly comfortable sofa I prefer my bed. Such luxury to have it in my living room.

I love surrounding myself with books, stories that make me dream of endless possibilities. I like it when they have a hint of magic, so Magical Realism is my favourite genre. I love books by authors like Sarah Addison Allen, Joanne Harris and Menna van Praag. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a gift or to be just a bit different from everybody else, because you have magic?

My living room is filled with books. My shelves are completely full and there are stacks of books everywhere. I’m having my own private library. Books have always been my life and since I started blogging my addiction has become even worse. Fortunately I enjoy every single minute of it and it’s contagious as a lot of people I know have started to read with me.

Alba, I love your wonderful blog. Your reviews are great and because of your creativity you always have the most wonderful new features. I've been a regular reader almost since the beginning as I knew your blog before we started to chat. I wish you a fantastic second year and hope we’ll be able to have many more great bookish chats.

Thank you Suze for sharing you own bookland with us. I love a bit of magic too.

A special thank you to Suze because she is a lovely friend and has supported me from the beginning. I love her blog, you always find something new there and it's a joy to read.
