What I cooked

What I was up to
On February 4th we celebrated Harry Potter Book Night with style. I made pumpkin pasties, Cornish pasties, rock cakes, butterbeer cupcakes, licorice wands and other sweets. We had lots of fun!
The first weekend of the month we went to the oldest brewery in the world, they opened in 1040! How crazy is that. It was quite cool.
And obviously, we had pancakes for Pancakes Day.
Also, our place is starting to look like a home. We have all the furniture and we are slowly adding personal touches like this cool bookish pillow, the Friends yellow frame and other pics.
And! My reading corner is almost ready. Even if someone seems to think it's his playing corner...

What I blogged about

February 4th was my 2nd blogiversary! And to celebrate that my little blog, I run several giveaways. It was a lot of fun and the response was incredible. So thanks again to everyone!
Also February 4th was Harry Potter Book Night and I shared some of the decorations I used on my own Harry Potter party.
During the month I had the pleasure of welcoming some fantastic author to my blog:
Guest Post by author Hannah Emery: Capturing the castle
Guest Post by author Rebecca Pugh: Playlist for A Home in Sunset Bay
Author Interview with Rosie Nixon
